FROM ONE PREGNANT LADY TO ANOTHER

Loud groan!

For those of you ladies who have had "tiny tykes", you will be all too familiar with the dreaded pregnancy brain. With each of my pregnancies (or as I increase in age more likely) it seems to come on earlier and get worse.

Cameron would constantly asked me why I would so many mistakes whilst I carried Ava. He just couldn't understand why I kept putting things in his lunch that he didn't like, kept jumbling my words and  stopping mid sentence as I just couldn't recall what it was I wanted to say to him!

Well, today it has hit an all time high. This card has to have been the most calamitous project I have ever undertaken. It should have taken no more than 30 minutes, instead it took a glorious 3 hours. I have never made so many mistakes. Cutting the wrong sized card or paper, even though I had pre-measured, stamping in the wrong place, or having my images come away cock eyed even with the use of my Stamp-a-majig! I even managed to cut my card all uneven with the use of my paper trimmer!!!

Top all that off with fact that my computer technician husband has decided to upgrade my laptop, makes for a very grumpy Alex indeed. The entire computer is different now, I can't find anything, all my passwords have disappeared, blah, blah. I am sure you all get the picture. I know he was actually doing me a favour, it turns out it needed it but sheesh...

Now, I require your total honesty followers. I really am not too sure about this "card". Its not a traditional card but I did want something a bit different as the recipient is just a bit different, LOL! She is crazy in a fantastic way and is about to have her very first baby. A boy!

Do you think it needs to be mounted? Does it need any thing else? I am not sure if I have chosen the right colours for a baby's card, I wan'ts really thinking clearly at all, LOL!

Click on the pictures for a closer look.

The only reason there are two buttons here is because I stuck the the one on the left in the wrong place initially and then ripped it off (stupidly) and damaged the underlying paper. Using another button seemed like the only thing to do. Hoorah!

No moaning next time, I promise!

Ta Ta for now

Cutting the wrong size, wonky stamping, losing stamps/punches/scissors etc - some of us don't even need to be pregnant to make these mistakes Alex! I love the neutrals with the unexpected flashes of colour you used in this project.
